Day 1 Wednesday Arrive Quito - Machachi
Private transfer in from Quito airport to Hacienda Umbria. Overnight in Hacienda Umbria with breakfast included.
Day 2 Thursday Machachi – Baños
After breakfast enjoy a visit to the wonderful world of the Ecuadorian Paramo that is Cotopaxi National Park. The majestic snow-capped Cotopaxi Volcano is the highest active volcano in the world. Lunch included at Hacienda Hato Verde. In the afternoon continue onto Hacienda Manteles near Baños. Dinner and overnight at Hacienda Manteles with breakfast included. (B,L,D)
Day 3 Friday Baños – Kapawi Ecolodge & Reserve
After breakfast travel overland to Shell. Fly from Shell into Kapawi Ecolodge & Reserve for a 4 day, 3 night Amazon adventure. At Kapawi you have choices. Once you arrive at the Ecolodge, you and your guides will be able to organize a set of experiences that most suits your individual interests and desired level of activity. Almost all itineraries will include some combination of visits to the Achuar communities, hikes in the rain forest, kayaking in rivers and streams and bird watching. Overnight in Kapawi Lodge with all meals and activities included. (B,L,D)
Day 4 Saturday Kapawi Ecolodge & Reserve

Day 6 Monday Kapawi Ecolodge & Reserve – Quito
Fly from Kapawi to Shell then travel overland to Quito. Lunch included en route. On arrival in Quito enjoy a city tour of the historical centre.
First stop is Itchimbia Park which offers fantastic views across Quito´s old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then continue on to visit the neo-gothic Basilica, Independence Square where you find the Cathedral and Presidential Palace, La Compañia de Jesus church famous for its gold leafed interiors and San Francisco Square and church. Dinner and overnight in Boutique Hotel Café Cultura (B,L,D)
Day 7 Tuesday Quito – Galapagos – Yacht Fragata
After breakfast, you will be picked up for your morning transfer to Quito airport to catch your flight to the Galapagos Islands. Please remember that there is a USD$10 INGALA fee to be paid per person in cash in Quito airport and USD$100 per person National Park entrance fee in cash on arrival in Galapagos. These amounts are not included in the final price. On arrival in Baltra airport in Galapagos you will be met by a representative from The Fragata and taken on board this first class motor yacht to begin your Galapagos cruise. In the afternoon you will visit El Chato. Lunch, dinner and overnight on board the Yacht Fragata (B,L,D)
Day 8 Wednesday Galapagos - Yacht Fragata
Today you will visit Isabela Island – Humedales, Muro de las Lagrimas, Giant Tortoise Breeding Centre and Sierra Negra. All meals and overnight on board the Yacht Fragata (B,L,D)
Day 9 Thursday Galapagos – Yacht Fragata
Today you will visit Santa Cruz Island – Bahia Ballena and Eden. All meals and overnight on board the Yacht Fragata (B,L,D)
Day 10 Friday Galapagos – Yacht Fragata - Guayaquil
In the morning you will visit Caleta Tortuga Negra, before being taken to Baltra airport for your return flight to the city of Guayaquil on the mainland. Private transfer in on arrival in Guayaquil to Boutique Hotel Mansion del Rio. Dinner and overnight in Hotel Mansion del Rio (B,D)
Day 11 Saturday Guayaquil – home
Private transfer out to the airport to catch your international flight home. (B)
